Before I had children, I wondered how difficult parenting could really be. I figured that other parents who had children with behavioral problems were doing things wrong, so I developed some ideas that I thought could help. Unfortunately, parenting was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated, and it really took me by surprise. I quickly found myself reverting to some ideas that my parents had used, and I wanted to start becoming a better parent by learning more.
